Dr. Brian Catalucci - Information: How It Is Fatal To Evolution

Returning to RMCF for our October 10th, 2025 meeting, is former RMCF President and now Dr. Brian Catalucci. Biblical Christians, who do not believe in evolution of any sort, have sought the silver bullet that would be fatal to Darwinian evolution and strongly support Biblical Creation. They know how the universe, the Earth, and all life came into existence; God spoke all of them into existence as plainly detailed in Genesis 1. The universe was not the result of any method or kind of evolution.
This presentation will clearly demonstrate how information and other nonmaterial entities deal the fatal blow to evolution in all its forms. Information, being a nonmaterial entity, is contained in all life. Without information and the other nonmaterial entities, life and the universe would not exist. There are many nonmaterial entities in the universe such information, the Laws of Science, consciousness, intelligence, will, logic, and thoughts. The Big Bang was not the possible beginning of the Universe, because the nonmaterial entities needed to have been brought into existence simultaneously with matter and energy, because matter and energy rely on the nonmaterial entities to exist and operate. All the Laws of Science had to exist simultaneously with matter and energy.
Nonmaterial entities never originate in matter, are not correlated with matter, and matter does not have control over them, and they do not exist on the periodic table. Yet information and nonmaterial entities can influence and control the material entities in the universe.
The presentation will show how a Christian can use what is discussed to easily witness to evolutionists and how information is fatal to Darwinian evolution.
Brian grew up in a Christian home but attended public schools that taught evolution as man’s beginnings. Brian was a Captain and pilot for a major national airline for over 36 years. In his early forties, he studied for a graduate degree in Computer Science. During that period of time, he began to realize that information was the building block of the entire universe. But where did all the information come from? He discovered that the laws of science, all of man’s inventions, and all the computer algorithms and information systems people use have already existed in nature. Humans just figured out how to use them. For the first time in his life, Brian really believed there had to be a Creator God through whom all the information in the universe came into being. He found Him in the Lord Jesus Christ.
In 1993, Brian graduated with a Master’s degree in Computer Science and Engineering from the University Of Colorado. For ten years, he was president of Rocky Mountain Creation Fellowship in Denver, Colorado, where he gave presentations and worked to bring many highly qualified speakers on creation topics to the Denver area. Brian has appeared on both TV and radio shows regarding biblical and creation science topics, and has given many presentations all across the USA and Canada on Genesis, dinosaurs, aliens and UFOs, ancient man, and the founding fathers. Brian was an adjunct speaker for Answers in Genesis for over 10 years. He has recently obtained a PhD in Christian Theology and Apologetics from Scofield Biblical Institute.
Brian now travels all over the United States teaching Christians the truth of creation, Christian apologetics, information and the inerrancy of Scripture. His teaching also includes showing the saints how to defend their faith with ease and ability. Brian has been married to his wife Lise for over 47 years and they now reside in Colorado.
