Miranda Bracken: Creation, Culture, and the Church
When: Friday, August 08, 2025, 07:00pm
Where: ,
For the August 8th, 2025 meeting, RMCF welcomes Miranda Bracken, who will be speaking on Creation, Culture, and the Church. For the committed Christian, today's culture looks depraved and scary. But what can be expected when the first three chapters of Genesis have been "deconstructed" by the teaching of evolution? We'll examine how to reawaken the church's respect for the Genesis message and how to engage the culture for Christ by teaching the Gospel from the beginning. The fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom, so it's time to take Him at His Word.
Miranda is a 2nd year undergraduate studying Journalism at Patrick Henry College in Virginia. With aspirations as a movie director and book author, she has produced several short films on creation and culture, and is currently writing a novel series in the Christian fantasy genre. She is also studying Hebrew and has a heart for the Jewish people. Being a keyboardist, and an accomplished figure skater, Miranda is developing a website, called Worldview Collision, which combines her artistic and writing skills to reach her generation for Christ.
Please join us at the church in-person for fellowship and personal time with our speaker. There will be snacks and refreshments afterwards.
