Kate Warren - Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? (Teaching Biblical Creation in an Evolution-Focused Museum)

For our December meeting we are excited to have Kate Warren, who will be speaking on "Who’s Afraid of the Big Bad Wolf? (Teaching Biblical Creation in an Evolution-Focused Museum)". Do we creationists need to steer clear of secular natural history museums because of the evolutionary message spewing from nearly every exhibit? Learn how to use those state-of-the-art exhibits and quality collections to teach biblical worldview and glorify our Creator.
Kate Warren taught in Christians schools for 14 years. In 1992, she went into a music career and ministry with the Circuit Riders singing Cowboy Western music and Christian music near Yellowstone National Park and in churches around the West. Since her teens, Kate has had a keen interest in biblical creation. While in Wyoming, Kate created a Creation VBS program that has been used in several churches. After marrying Joe in 2009, her new husband took her to the Creation Museum for their honeymoon!
Living near the geological features of western Wyoming served to increase Kate’s desire to educate Christians in a biblical worldview. While living in England for six years, Kate was able to teach a class on Genesis 1-11 for the Protestant Women of the Chapel at Menwith Hill RAF Base where Joe worked. Women from a wide range of Protestant backgrounds expressed that they had never been taught Genesis before and realized they had been mis-lead all their lives with evolution. Now back in Colorado, God has connected Kate with the International Association for Creation in establishing creation tours in natural history museums. Kate is an independent guide leading tours at the Denver Museum of Nature & Science.
